Meredith Dobro, Pro Pet Sitter

Hello, and welcome!

I’ve cared for animals my whole life, and I’ve found they tend to trust me right away. I think they sense that I’m caring, dependable, and genuinely love being around them. That’s why I started my own professional pet sitting business servicing the west side of Cleveland.

Experience you can trust

From cats and rabbits to birds, gerbils, reptiles, and even a toad and a snake along the way, I’ve shared my home with all kinds of animals. I’ve volunteered with several animal shelters and wildlife organizations, and I’ve rescued and re-homed many dogs, cats, and rabbits. Whether your companion is a dog, cat, rabbit, bird, fish, reptile, or another exotic, you can count on knowledgeable, attentive care.

What I can do during visits

  • Dog care and dog walking, so your pup gets fresh air, exercise, and plenty of attention while you’re away
  • Feeding, fresh water, and clean-up
  • Playtime and cuddles (if your pet wants them!)
  • Vitamins and medications, from simple to complex, including pills and diabetic injections
  • Cat and rabbit grooming (nail trims and brushing)
  • Basic dog training, including leash walking with the Freedom No-Pull Leash, which gently discourages pulling so walks are calmer and more enjoyable for both of you, plus teaching commands
  • Little extras for your peace of mind: bringing in mail, opening and closing curtains, and watering plants

Prepared and professional

I’m Pet CPR/First Aid certified, a member of Pet Sitters International with their Certified Professional Pet Sitter designation, and I’m fully insured and bonded. In my other career, I produced TV segments on pet care products, which gave me the chance to learn from veterinarians and other animal experts.

Where I service

I proudly service Cleveland’s west side and its neighboring suburbs, including Lakewood, Rocky River, Fairview Park, Bay Village, Westlake, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Twp., North Ridgeville, Avon, Avon Lake, Parma, with select visits a little farther southwest, such as Parma Hts., Middleburg Hts., North Royalton, Berea, and Strongsville. Not sure if you’re in my area? Just ask!

Let’s meet!

I’d love to set up a free meet and greet so you and your pet can get to know me. Call or text me (texting gets the fastest response). I appreciate real testimonials and referrals too!
